Agent Messages
When you interact with your Agent Team in Alchemist, your main interaction view will display the message exchanges between the user and the agents. This view is designed to provide a clear and concise overview of the conversation flow, allowing you to easily track the interactions and responses from your agent team.
The messages from the user will be followed by responses from Agents. If Planning step was included in the Agent Team, you will also see the status of the plan displayed just below the User's message. However, this view will not display any internal exchanges between agents or internal agent monologue done while the agent is solving your task.
If streaming option was included you will see the progress in the blue field mentioned before in Assign tasks and chat with your agents section. The progress will be displayed in the blue field. This field will be updated constantly and not retain any history.
In the above example we include very simple exchange including the elements like user message, plan status and agent response.
Access to Agent Messages
In order to access the Agent Messages view, you need to click on the Agent Messages button located in the the bottom navigation bar. This will open the Agent Messages view, where you can see the detailed message exchanges between the agents and their internal monologue.
Event with simple question like the one above, the Agent Team will follow its data flow and include all involved steps. The Agent Messages view will include all messages exchanged between the agents and their internal monologue (consecutive messages by the same agent). This view is designed to provide a comprehensive overview of the entire conversation flow, allowing you to see how the agents are processing the information and generating their responses.
In this view you will also notice every Tool being executed, results the agent receive and potential errors that are passed back to the agent.
Due to the potentially large number of messages included here, this view is paginated. You can use the pagination controls at the top and bottom of the view to navigate through the messages. This allows you to easily find specific messages or interactions without having to scroll through a long list of messages.
